updates

yes it's finally friday!!  i still have to go to work, but after that it's sweet sweet weekend time.

so a couple little updates:

lately i've been really interested in seeing what ya'll have been making from my tutorials so i decided to start a flickr group.  i've never used flickr before so hopefully i set everything up right...  right now i only have one group for everything so if you've used my blog to make anything you can post your photos here.   i can't wait to see what you guys have made!!

i am also thinking about starting a weekend linky party for crafty projects.  as soon as i come up with a name and a button i will be hosting every weekend!!

sometime in the coming week i will be posting a tutorial soon for a zippered cosmetic pouch.  it's based on the one here but with some minor changes.

...and i will be hosting my first giveaway!!  i'm probably way behind the times but i just discovered rafflecopter and i want to try it out.  the prize will most likely be one of the cosmetic pouches from the soon-to-be-posted tutorial.

also my first tophatter auction will be taking place this saturday here at 9 pm PT.  tophatter is a new auction live auction site with a variety of items ranging from vintage collectibles to artisan jewelry.  once you enter the live auction it's almost like a chat room so you can ask the seller questions and get immediate feedback!!
